Game Summary: Ukraina Blue breazed through their first game of the season, showing that we are playing some great soccer. Goal scorers were Andriy Popowych with 3, Konstantin Privalov 2, Igor Pletchtchenko 2, Jon Udell with 2, and Matty Kenny with 2. Morgan Kenny played well in goal.

Result: 8-1 Win
Game Summary: Ukraina Blue again steamrolled their opponent winning 8-1. The goal scorers were Luke Makischuk with 3, Andriy Popowych, Matty Kenny, Igor Pletchenko, Jon Udell and Bohdan Kaluzny. Morgan Kenny played well in goal.

Result: 9-1 Win
Game Summary: Ukraina once again dominated their game. Although it was tighter then it sounds, as it was 1-1 for much of the first half with both teams coming close. But Ukraina came through with flying colours on goals by Arsen Gritsenko with 2, Andriy Popowych 2, Luke Makischuk 2, Sergey Kovalenkov, Igor Pletchtenko, and Konstantin Privalov. Morgan Kenny played well in goal.

Luke dominated the midfield, making many great passes as well as scoring 2 goals.

Result: 6-2 Win
Game Summary: Ukraina played a very good team today, but were up for the task and played one of their best of the season. Alex Zaslavsky got things going before Luke Makischuk got a second for Ukraina. The opposition got one back, before Andriy Popowych scored to make it 3-1. Alex Zaslavsky got his second of the match, as did Andriy Popowych to make it 5-2. Igor (a new Ukrainian recruit playing his first game) scored on his debut for Ukraina. Morgan Kenny had a great game in goal.

Result: 5-3 Win
Game Summary: - Ukraina played a very tough Wanderers team today but are in great form, and won a tough tackling game. Arsen Gritsenko and Alex Zaslavsky got things going with good team goals before Graeme Webber scored to make it 2-0. Ukraina gave a goal back but in the second half Alex Zaslavsky scored a good finish from a tight angle before Matty Kenny blasted home Ukraina's 5th and final goal. Morgan Kenny had a great game in goal.

Jon worked tirelessly through the game, had great touches, and defended superbly.

Ottawa Ukraina Blue vs. Ottawa Ukraina Yellow

Result: 7-2 Loss
Game Summary: This was a historic match between two Ukraina teams, Ukraina Blue and Ukraina Yellow. It was a spirited and fast start by Blue getting the better chances but could not get a goal. Blue kept pressing and had control of the game until a quick counter attack by Yellow alowwed them to go up 1-0. Blue did not faulter and kept pressing for a tying goal which Jon Udell scored on a good long strike to beat the keeper just inside the post. The half ended tied 1-1. In the second half Blue came out playing strong wanting to score the go ahead goal but could not put the ball in back of the net. The a few mistakes allowed Yellow to score 2 quick goals to make it 3-1 Yellow. Blue started to faulter a little and get tired and allwed Yellow to score 2 more quick goals to make it 5-1 Yellow. Blue had no choice but to open up and press for a goal which was struck brilliently by Aza from a great run on the wing to make it 5-2 Yellow. As Blue kept pressing Yellow got more chances and gave up 2 more goals towards the end of the game. Despite the loss it was a very spirited and fun game between two good Ukraina squads.

Jon played a well rounded game make some great forward runs and also coming back to defend.

Result: 7-2 Win
Game Summary: Ukraina blue were in top form today controlling the game from the start. Great ball movement and constant moving off the ball kept their opponents on their heels for the majority of the game. Ukraina got thing going with a goal from Nate Lafosse, and another by Arsen Gritsenko, before the opponents managed to get one back, which did not phase Ukraina. Before half Igor Plentchenko and Nate were able to put goals in. The second was more of the same and Nate scored his third of the night, before Igor and Arsen both got their second of the night. Ukraina put it on cruise mode after and gave up a late goal, which did not affect the game.

Alex tracked up and down the field all game, was a leader on the pitch.

Result: 3-3 Tie
Game Summary: Ukraina came into the game off a high from winning a tournament earlier in the, which also meant they came in tired. The boys came out of the gates slow and found themselves down early 2-0. They now started to play their game but were not reward before half. Ukraina came our strong in the second half and cut the lead in half with a nice goal from Andriy Panchuk. Soon after ukraina lost a little focus and gave up another goal to be down 3-1. This did not affect the ukrainians as Johnny Udell and Konstantine Privalov were able to find the back of the net to bring the game to 3-3 with about 10 minutes to play. Ukraina finished the game very strong, dominating the play but were unlucky not to be able to come up with that last goal.

Despite his hard work all day long in the tournament, came out to support the team and played solid in centre midfield.

Result: 9-2 Win
Game Summary: Ukraina came out slow today for their last spring game and found them selves on their heals at times early and were lucky when 2 shots against hit the cross bar, and then post. The boys finally settled down and started playing their game and putting the pressure on. They were rewarded by going up 3-0 before conceding 1 before the end of the first half. At half, Ukraina were determined to step up their game in the second half, and did. They came out strong from the start and took the spirits our of their opponents. Ukraina gave up 1 more goal in the half, but dominated the second half scoring 6 goals. The goal scorers were: Arsen 3 goals, Nate 2 goals, Igor, Alex, Jon and Sergey. Morgan played well in net

Igor played another great game in the middle, always being a threat, and distributing the ball well.
