Game Summary: Ukraina stuttered from the blocks in the spring league letting a game get by them. They were 3-0 down, and battled back with goals from Eric Lapointe and Matty Kenny. Andriy Popowych played well in goal.

Game Summary: Ukraina yellow faultered again with this late kickoff, dominating most of the game but unable to score as the opposition sat back and defended after scoring two early goals. Andriy Popowych played in goal.

Game Summary: Ukraina finally got on track with a huge win in this game. We were unlucky to win the first 2, but bounced back with a vengeance tonight. Goals were scored by Luke Makischuk with 2, Nate Lafosse, Alex Zaslavsky, Eric Lapointe, Sergey Kovalenkov, Erik Kulakowsky, Vince Didkovsky, Roman Zakaluzny, and Mike Herasimenko. Andriy Popowych recorded the shutout.

Result: 6-1 Win
Game Summary: Ukraina started a bit slow today after a week off, but got the result they deserved. Erik Kulakowsky got things going with a great turn and finish before Danilo Popowych got his first to make it 2-0. Danilo got another before Nathan Lafosse got his first to make it 4-1. In the second half, Ukraina were in no danger and controlled the game, Danilo got his hatrick, and Nate Lafosse got his second. Andriy Popowych played well in goal.

Result: 8-3 Win
Game Summary: Ukraina played a tough team today as well, but are really showing our class and hwo much we are improving over the course of this year. The game was tight to start, but we pulled away with very timely goals from Graeme Webber with 3, Dmitriy Synak with 2, Danilo Popowych, Erik Kulakowsky, and Vinny Didkovsky. Andriy Popowych played well in goal.

Result: 7-2 Win
Game Summary: This was a historic match between two Ukraina teams, Ukraina Yellow and Ukraina Blue. The boys were excited and wanted to show which Ukraina team was better. Ukraina Yellow started slow and were on their heels as Ukraina Blue pressed. Andriy Popwych made some good saves to keep the game 0-0. Then Nate scored his 1st of the game on a Blue defensive breakdown. Blue started to press a little more and finally Jon Udell scored a long strike before the half to make it 1-1. Second half started very spirited and bothteams wanted the game badly. Nate used his speed and scored to quick goals to make the game 3-1. From then on Yellow started to control the game and Nate got 2 more goals. Blue got a goal back on a good run down the wing by Aza. Then Yuriy Derkach scored two quick goals towards the end of the game to make it 7-2 Ukraina Yellow over Ukraina Blue.

Nate had a briliant game up front using his speed to beat defenders and scoring 5 goals.

Ottawa Ukraina Yellow vs. White Eagles

Location: Coliseum
Result: 1-1 Tie
Game Summary: Ukraina Yellow was not prepared for this game and came out a little flat and was back on their heels. Morgan Kenny kept us in the game making some great stops. White Eagles got a goal with a 1 in 100 shot. Ukraina started slowly taking over the game and showed their true skill and persistance but just could not finish. The first half ended 1-0. Ukraina Yellow came out strong in the second half looking for the equalizer but could not score. Finally towards the end of the game Ukraina was awarded a penalty kick and Mike Herasimenko scored a briliant goal to make it 1-1. Ukraina kept up the pressure but could not take the lead and the game ended 1-1.

Morgan made saome very good saves in the first half to keep us in the game.

Result: 6-2 Win
Game Summary: Ukraina Yellow had a tough game as most of the team played in the tournament over the weekend. But the a few of the Ukraina reserve call ups were a great addition to help the team. It showed that the opposition was not in the game from the start and Ukraina were totally dominating and got out to a 2-0 lead early. After a little let down as it was hard to get motivated for the game Celtic got back a goal to make it 2-1. Then Ukraina picked up the pace again and scored 3 more goals in the first half to make the game 5-1. Ukraina were dominating the second half using the game to pass the ball and control the game. Celtic got another goal but the gamne was never in question and Ukraina scored a sixth goal to ensure the victory and to keep on pace for a possible first place finish.

Result: 4-3 Win
Game Summary: Ukraina Yellow were up against a top team in the league today. After a couple of good chances, we were finally able to score a couple of quick goals to get up 2-0 but weren't playing tight defensively and gave 1 up. Coming out of half time with the score 2-1, Ukraina scored and took a 2 goal lead but again let their opponents back in the game. Simple mistakes and some bad communication led to a tie game 3-3 into the final stretch of the game. Things began to get heated and chippy as both sides were playing for a win and didn't want to give an inch. Finally it was Eric Lapointe with a great finish off a half volley inside the far post, Who got ukraina the winning goal. Other goal scorers were Sergey with 2 and Mike Herasimenko. Andriy Popowych played in net.

Eric played hard all game, not backing down from any challenges and was rewarded in the end with a beautiful game winning goal.
