Coyotes scored first to go up 1-0 at halftime. After a few adjustments at halftime, and a whole lot more emotion, Ukraina started to finally pick up the play. Then a large turning point, which should have gone against Ukraina, we overcame the odds as Ukrainians always do! Walter was fouled hard and dirty, and a scrum ensued after, where keeper Andriy Popowych came from his goal and had a scuffle with the other team. Andriy Popowych and a member of the other team were given red cards, and Walter Usyk given a yellow card. Meaning, Ukraina were without a keeper, and down a man for 2 minutes because of the yellow card. Cue Danilo Popowych, who was watching on the sidelines in street clothes due to a 2 month layoff with a groin injury, very bravely volunteer to strap on the keeper gear and play in goal. So in he went, and while Ukraina were short handed, Scott Makischuk was able to score a great finish to tie things up. not to long later, Arsen Gritsenko made a great pass to Konstantin Privalov, who buried the go ahead goal while Danilo Popowych made some great saves in goal.
