Ottawa Ukraina Royals vs. Kemptville Kougars Sunday August 27th, 2006 @ 6:00pm
|
| Location: K'ville Agri. Coll. #7 |
| Result: 5 - 2 Win |
| Game Summary:
Ukraina showed exactly why we are the best team in the league today. Without our unlucky season of injuries to key positions such as goalie, there is no doubt Ukraina would have won every game they played. They showed this class in this game hammering one of the top teams 5-2. Ukraina have finished the season handily beating the top 2 teams in the league, and deserve promotion to division 3. Scotty showed why he is Ukraina's all time leading scorer by scoring 3 goals, while youngster Chris Arnone, called up for his second game from a younger team, scored 2 great goals. Morgan Kenny once again was called up to play in the net for Ukraina, and was brilliant. Luke showed what a fighter he is by winning a head to stop a scoring chance for Kemptville, and earning 13 stitches and a trip to the hospital. Great job lads, Bohdan and Marc couldn't be more pleased with the season.
