League Game
Ottawa Ukraina Royals vs. Hellas 5

Sunday, March 25th, 2007 @ 23:00
Location: Coliseum - Dome 2
Result: 3 - 2 Win
Game Summary:
Ukraina played extremely hard today, and full deserved the 3 points. They worked right from the whistle, and battled hard against a very chippy Greek side. Sergey Kovalenkov opened the scoring midway through the first half to make it 1-0. Then added a second right before half time with a long run beating 2 players and finishing very well. A few minutes into the second half Ukraina were a bit sloppy and gave away a free kick in which there was a bit of confusion and resulted in a goal for the Greeks. It was a very very tight affair at this point, until Jon Udell scored an absolutely great goal, turning the defender leaving him for dead, and slotting home a perfect finish to give Ukraina a 3-1 lead. A mistake at the back let the Greeks back in the game 3-2. It was hard work for 10 minutes to keep the lead, but in the end Ukraina were better on the night. Bryce Motiuk made his first appearance for Ukraina and played a solid game. Matty Kenny played his first game in goal for Ukraina and made some brilliant saves.
